Do you want to reduce the amount of alcohol you drink, or just quit all together?  There are a few tips that you can try.  First, keep very little or no alcohol at your home.  Second, when you drink, sip slowly and be sure to take a break between drinks by drinking other things.  Third, choose three or four days per week when you will not drink at all.  Fourth, make a list of other things you can do instead of drinking, and then do some of those things on the days you don’t drink.  Finally, avoid places where you tend to drink too much.

Move It!

What you get: You will receive regular educational and motivational messages during the program as you participate in your favorite form of movement.

What you do: This campaign is designed to encourage physical activity by inspiring peer support and by creating a little friendly competition. Distinct groups within a company, such as sites or departments, can compete against each other to win the coveted Gold, Silver, or Bronze WellSteps Trophy. There are four simple steps. First, you choose a few forms of physical activity that you like. What you do for your activity is up to you. You can include things like walking or gardening. Naturally, things such as jogging, biking, or aerobic activity also count. Second, choose one or more people to be part of your Move It! team. Your team members can be physically active with you, but group activity is not required. You can earn more points by being physically active with other people or even pets! Third, after choosing your team, you plan one or more blocks of 30 minutes for physical activity into your weekly schedule. Finally, you Move It! one or more times each week for six weeks and hopefully longer! Once a week, you simply log your time spent in physical activity.

How long does this campaign last?: Move It! lasts 6 weeks
