If your firm or your customers are implementing an outcomes-based wellness program, there are a few questions you might have. Where should you start? What rewards and activities should the program include? How will the employer know if employees are participating and improving their health?
Beginning an outcomes-based wellness program can be overwhelming, but it need not be. The truth is, we tend to over complicate. Why create a complex system that is impossible to administer when a user friendly wellness activity tracker will keep employees accountable and minimize stress for onsite coordinators?
Here are a few things to consider when designing or selecting an Outcomes-Based Wellness Program:
First, you will need a wellness activity tracker. Such a tracker should be easy to set up and easy to use. An outcomes-based wellness program need not be elaborate in order to be effective. A sensible list of activities with wellness incentives attached will create the structure needed for motivation and change.
Along with simplicity, a good tracker will be customizable and affordable. Coordinators should have the ability to design the wellness activities to their preferences and company needs while still staying within a reasonable wellness budget. Finding a wellness activity tracker that is flexible while still providing necessary structure will make wellness a joy instead of a burden.
We will discuss this topic in further detail in our upcoming webinar. Register here.
