They also award those that are not enrolled in coverage with a gift card. Yes, the company is very generous, but the individuals do have to work for it,\u201d says WellSteps guide Carli Thornton.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Incentives are powerful motivators that not only influence participation, but also employee health.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur associates are the most important asset of our company. We wanted associates who were healthy and happy. We also wanted our associates to start making connections and relationships with primary care doctors who could help them \u2018connect the dots\u2019 when it came to their healthcare,\u201d says the logistic company\u2019s wellness coordinator. \u201cOur associates earn rewards points that can become savings on their benefits the following year. For some, the program has been life-changing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe individual success stories stand out the most to me,\u201d says Carli. \u201cWe even had an individual say that the WellSteps program \u2018saved his life.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leadership is critical to our client\u2019s wellness program success, and Carli says their wellness coordinator is outstanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cShe is amazing! She goes above and beyond to promote the program and involves the head of HR across their many locations. Some of those HR heads are very involved in promoting the program,\u201d says Carli. \u201cTheir wellness coordinator is very responsive and attends all meetings. She always comes with new ideas to promote the program and loves integrating new WellSteps products into their portal.
