Troy Adams, an advocate for healthy living, embarked on his journey into the world of wellness during his freshman year when he took an anatomy class that captivated him by the intricacies of the human body. Fueled by this fascination, his personal wellness experiences, and a strong desire to assist others, he pursued a degree in Exercise Physiology. Holding an ACSM certification as a Health\/Fitness Director, Troy’s dedication to understanding the body led him to a doctorate pursuit.<\/p>\n

Enrolling at UT Austin in 1991, Troy’s academic path took an unexpected turn as he pioneered a method to quantify wellness. This innovation garnered global attention, generating emails from around the world. An accomplished academic, Troy authored numerous articles, delivered lectures, and consulted across the United States and internationally. His research, alongside collaborator Steve, laid the bedrock for WellSteps’ initiatives.<\/p>\n

Troy’s influence extended to serving as the Editor for the American Journal of Health Promotion and as a board member for the National Wellness Institute. With a desire to address emotional well-being, he authored a book inspired by genuine stories.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Since joining WellSteps in 2012, Jennifer has grown through multiple leadership roles across operations, implementation, customer success, and organizational leadership, giving her a unique understanding of client needs, user engagement, behavior change, and the day-to-day realities of running successful wellness programs.<\/p>\n

Over the course of her career, Jennifer has helped support organizations across the country in industries ranging from schools and universities to municipalities, financial institutions, healthcare, manufacturing, and corporate wellness.<\/p>\n

Jennifer believes wellness should be personalized, approachable, and centered around sustainable habits that improve long-term health and quality of life. She helped guide the development of WellSteps\u2019 Six Pillars of Health model and has led efforts to expand the company\u2019s engagement tools, habit-building resources, wellness challenges, video libraries, platform integrations, and overall user experience.<\/p>\n

As CEO, Jennifer focuses on combining behavior change science, strong customer support, innovative technology, and continual growth to help WellSteps evolve into a smarter and more engaging wellness platform.
