Heidi WellSteps guide.

Heidi Taylor

I am passionate about general wellness and feel like people who work full time/or anyone forgets to put a focus on their bodies and general health. I personally feel a huge difference in my life when I am being intentional about my physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

I am a CTRS: certified therapeutic recreation specialist. The goal of a CTRS is to improve the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of individuals. I have a BS is Therapeutic Recreation.

– Heidi’s Wellness Tip –

“Drinking water! Honestly, as a mom I’m sleep deprived 99% of the time but drink tons of water and it gives me energy, helps me think clearly, and prevents me from stress snacking all day!”

What do you find most rewarding about your work in the wellness industry?

Feedback from participants! I love hearing about how even just one person applied the program seriously to their life and felt a difference in at least one aspect of their life. These responses motivate me to keep working hard and pushing myself to be better so I can help more people.

What is your favorite WellSteps tool, and why?

My favorite tool is the challenges because they are individually driven and target a variety of wellness topics. There is a little something for everyone, and it doesn’t matter where you are on your wellness journey.

What do you believe is the most important aspect of a successful wellness program for clients?

A successful wellness program has lots of participation. Wellness is part of the culture and it’s talked about often, not just once a year.

If you could choose one word to describe yourself, what would it be, and why?

Positive! I work hard to have a positive view on most circumstances.

Icecream?

Mint fudge brownie

Season?

Spring

Vacation Location?

Island Park Lake!

Cereal?

Cinnamon Toast Crunch

Flower?

Roses
