Carli Thornton
Director of operations
I love watching individuals becoming the best versions of themselves, and wellness plays such a big role in that! Worksite wellness was intriguing to me from the beginning because it not only helps the employees, but the company too.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Exercise and Wellness. Hearing success stories from individuals — big and small is one of my favorite things. Wellness really is a journey, and it is fun watching people embark on it!
I have been with WellSteps for many years after originally starting as an intern!

– A piece of advice from Carli Thornton a WellSteps Wellness Guide. –
“Start small — little things can make a difference.”
Favorite WellSteps Campaign:
Train Your Brain and Happiness Matters will always be two of my favorites. The topics are incredibly important to me personally, and I love that we address emotional and intellectual wellness along with the other more common pillars.
Key Program Element:
Involved Wellness Committee — if you have that in place, so many other important aspects naturally happen.
Favorite Wellness Practices:
I really enjoy interval training. It can be difficult to fit exercise into my day, but I can find time to complete a 15 minute HIIT session. However, a wellness tip I swear by…. getting good sleep!
